INGADA’s Role (premium Gulf villa sealing package): INGADA supplied a MS Polymer + Structural Silicone package mapped to a premium Gulf-desert villa envelope: MS-625 (±25% movement, 0.4 MPa modulus, French A+) for the stone-cladding façade joints, windows & doors, balconies and pool perimeter that face year-round 45°C+ heat, UV, salt spray and sand; SR-100 (ASTM C1184 structural silicone) for the aluminum-glass portals and windows (as illustrated by the UAE reference project); MS-88L (crystal-clear mold-proof) for the villa marble & tile bathrooms where the classical interior aesthetic must stay uninterrupted by colored joint lines; and MS-50A (Shore A ≥80) for the swimming pool, SPA and kitchen wet zones where Gulf humidity and chemical cleaning demand a ceramic-grade mold-proof joint.

2. Engineering Challenge

Challenge 1 — Gulf Coastal Desert Climate on Premium Stone Façades

Kuwait summers reach 45°C+ with intense equatorial UV, salt-laden coastal air, and sand-bearing desert winds. The Vela Project’s stone-cladding façades (with classical ashlar stone, terracotta-tile roofs and shaped cornices) must hold every joint, cornice flashing and stone-to-stone joint watertight and sand-tight through this envelope. A hard sealant will shear from thermal cycling within a summer; the system needs low modulus (±25% movement), high UV resistance and salt-spray endurance to keep the premium stonework intact for the villa’s service life.

Challenge 2 — Stone · Aluminum · Glass · Concrete Multi-Substrate Joints in Classical Porticos

The Vela villas mix natural stone cladding, aluminum & glass portals, reinforced-concrete & block-work structure, and shaped terracotta roofs — and the porticoses (Roman / Corinthian columns, arched openings, ashlar paving) create stone-to-concrete, stone-to-aluminum and stone-to-glass joints that move asymmetrically under Gulf heat and wind. Every portico column base, every portal frame, and every stone coping must be sealed with a system that tolerates this multi-substrate movement without staining the limestone — the wrong sealant will bleed oil into the stone and ruin the premium aesthetic within months.

Challenge 3 — Pool, SPA & Marble Bathrooms in a Premium Villa Setting

Each premium villa has its own swimming pool, SPA / steam area and marble or porcelain-tiled bathrooms. In Gulf humidity the wet-area seals must be mold-proof (Shore A ≥80) under near-constant humidity and daily chemical cleaning; the marble / tile bathrooms need crystal-clear joints so the classical interior aesthetic stays uninterrupted by colored sealant lines; and the entire interior must be low-VOC (French A+ class) for immediate occupancy of the finished villas.
