Open-air corridors are the equatorial design answer — every slab edge, handrail base, column joint and roof-to-parapet line in this shaded-but-exposed zone is a movement joint and water path that must stay sealed through months of rain.
The full equatorial campus: pitched metal roofs, rendered blockwork facades, courtyard paving and sports surfaces. Roof edges, roof-to-wall junctions, window perimeters and expansion joints across all of it face rain-driven movement in a hot, humid, salt-laden climate.
